Just had a incoming call from this number says its from Manchester. I didn't recognise it so didn't answer. Never had a bank loan. Yet again nonsense calls

Just received a call from this number today 21/10/15 15.50pm whilst at work. Didn't recognise the number so didn't answer it, just googled it instead and arrived at this site. Thanks all, number now blocked.

Got a call from this number as did my friend. They didnt speak. Just turned off the phone after I picked up. On the other hand they were annoying my friend.

0161 839 2300 just called me. I answered and it was PPI claims. when I asked how they got my number she simple said "its on my database". when I asked how it got there she said "I don't know". told them I wasn't interested and to remove my number. after her still trying the hard sell I explained I was hanging up and did so. number blocked!!

PPI claim nuisance call

I received a call from the number 0161 839 2300 on the 13/10/15 (today) and I haven't a clue who it is. It says this is from Manchester but I don't know any more about it.

I had a call from this number too Its a cold caller - an automated diler for "help your claim" a ppi company ... again I thought auto dilers were banned - and if not they should be

Had a call from 0161 8392300 about PPI, the woman on the phone would not accept that I have never had any PPI and would not acknowledge my request to remove my number from their system, She kept talking over me so I got angry and hung up.

This number called me just, i didnt answer , i recently went into a o2 shop , they took my number , then i get this cold call. o2 stop selling customers mobile numbers !!!! you will get found out eventually !!!

Called claiming I was owed a PPI refund. Difference with this idiot was that he was SUPER persistent and didn't want to let me off the phone. Told him I had worked in banks previously and I would have NEVER taken PPI as I know how awful it was. In the end I had to tell him to "do one" as he wouldn't go. Annoying to say the least!!!

Had a call on this number today, I didn't answer it and the number wasn't recognised on my contacts. I was curious & rang back, no answer. I was worried because it's the area my family live and wondered if someone had died! It was the worry that got me to look this number up. I never give my mobile out to anyone, it's for close friends, family and for work use. What really angers me is people being able to get hold of my name seemingly so easily. My mobile is with Vodaphone, on a contract.

I'm fed up with this number calling. I have four daughter all over the country so always afraid it might be a true call or an emergency! Answered but didn't speak till I heard background noise and usual voice' hello this won't take long'..... hung up! It's so annoying, but sometimes you need to give out your number. I need to learn how to block numbers on my mobile!

I got a call from this number today, I answered it as it is an 0161 number (which is my local code) and thought it may be someone I know, but it wasn't. I haven't ever given my number to a charity as i am under 18 so I can't. Who is this???????????????

Had a call from them this morning. A lady was asking me about PPI claims something about Barclay's Bank. I wasn't really listening and told them I am not interested. Then she asked for some details I just lied and said I'm under 18 so they hung up. I have no idea how these annoying cold callers get my number but it's so irritating. Clearly some kind of PPI firm/ potential scam.
