This number called me yesterday, I rarely get phone calls so seemed a bit odd, woman claiming to be from Vodafone offering me an upgrade on my broadband that isn't due for renewal, I was busy & hung up cos I wasn't interested in the offer... The number called me again today just after 1pm, I didn't answer it & blocked the number this time, then Googled the number & see the number appears to be a scammy spammy number...
Received a call from this number didn’t answer did not recognise then looked up SCAMMERS
Saying I am ready for renewal for my broadband, I wasn’t till December. Asking for security to get into my account.
I missed call. See it’s Vodafone. Im leaving tomorrow. I have blocked the number.
woman called out of the blue claiming to be vodafone about my "broadband renewal" (vodafone never cold call so i was suspicious), very snarky tone when i misheard her so obviously i was snarky right back and hung up. ignore them and call vodafone using the number on their site instead
Missed the call but looking at other users reports I believe it's not a scam and it's indeed Vodafone as I switched to another provider on the same day so probably Vodafone tried to call so they can offer me a better deal as they did over email)
They asked me if I was me (using my name). Then said they were from Broadband then hung up.
3 calls from this number on 28 and 30 April and 5 June 2026, none answered as potential scam
