Several calls/texts claiming to be from a bank. Probably scammers needing spelling lessons as they said I’d missed a ‘cool’ on my phone. Course I did.
2 calls claiming a fraudulent transaction with my card. Message sounded very convincing. Was prompted to press any key to continue. I hung up
Ive just called them back as very persistent about being Halifax I couldn't hear no background noise she tryed talking over me and wanted all of my details I put the phone didn't believe them
Recorded message claiming to be Lloyds Bank regarding a fraudulent transaction on a card. The person they claim to be contacting passed away over 12 months ago so I don't believe it is genuine.

Halifax calling about potential fraudulent use of my debit card.
Recorded message. Said it was Halifax bank wanting to verify a failed online transaction on my wife's debit card. Didn't respond and hung up in case it was a scammer. They phoned twice today from 020 390 97060. The second call was at 8:30pm today Sunday 14 Dec. 2025.
