This number rang at lunchtime today. I answered and, after a pause, a female voice with slight Antipodean twang said the fateful words , 'Hello, I'm your local energy advisor'. I'm astonished that these scum cretins are still using that line. I told her where to go and to never ring me again. I put the phone down and the same number rang me back no fewer than 4 times in a few mins! I didn't pick up each time, just leaving the answerphone message to run. No message was left. Eventually, the moron stopped. I have now barred the number.

Received call, lady was talking about loft insulation & how older insulation can be harmful to lungs. Read there are scams going round about this. Lady would not answer questions about name of the Company she was calling from, but she did sound like a real person rather than AI generated, either way, I do not believe it to be a genuine call.

Called them back. Went immediately on hold with an AI saying “your call is important to us, please stay on the line and you’ll be transferred to an agent”
