0161 839 2300 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Just had a call from a chap on this number - follows a similar pattern. Is suggesting I have a PPI claim and was very persistent. Loud dance music in the background (are they in a pub??!!?). The only recent donation I have made is to 38 Degrees, so will be calling them and asking them if they have sold on my number!!

Yes not answered any calls for thisnumber not donated but have been buying from amazon. So annoying

Called by a lady, very loud dance music in the background. She asked me about my ppi claim, when asked to be taken off the call list she kept telling me about the company.

This was my third call over two weeks. So decided to answer on the forth time. Tried explaining what the company was but as I asked for more information, like where they got their database from, he stated he was new and didn't know. I then went on to state that if I received another call from them again, I would be contacting the police. Then politely stated that they should remove my number from their database. I used to work for market research, before even calling all staff members over the phones have to know where they have received their database from, and as he did not state that the call was going to be regulated against certain guidelines it is obviously a scam. I can only suggest to people that they answer the call, stAte you want your number removed and if they continue to call you will call the police in regards to harassment - which is a thing! And trust me they will not call again!

They seem to call me quite often but i never make it to the phone. Never a voice mail though. Thanks

I had a call from this number this morning and didn't answer but I have also recently donated to cancer research via text message

Just received a call from this number - even though I answered, there was no one there. I have now blocked this number along with 100's of others.

Got a call all about claiming PPI so I've blocked the number

I had a call from this number and the guy was trying to sell me PPI, he was impossible to get rid of so i hung up and bocked his number. I have no idea how he came to have my number. NOT HAPPY!

Keep getting calls off this number n similar 0161 numbers

I've always dismissed these calls however have recently heard of some success stories so gave basic details to them, postcode, D.O.B & address, apparently can claim back for overdraft. There is nothing to lose although I am pretty sure that I spoke to the same person twice when she said she was going to transfer me through to verifications team 😂. Who knows, may soon get 2K 👌🏼

I keep getting these calls, no message, they usually hang up..

I received a silent call (no sound whatsoever) yesterday afternoon. Very annoying.

I get a lot of calls from this number but they never actually connect. It's a real pain!
