claimed to be from Nationwide, but I checked with nationwide and they said they had no information as to why they would call me.

Seems to have been the Nationwide Building Society checking a cash deposit I made earlier in the day. Caller stated they were trying to trace a shortfall and wanted to know how much my cash deposit had been. Although a bit weird it seems to be legitimate. I will check next time I’m there.

spam calls, had this number call non stop even after pressing end call. seems like a scam, when answering its only loud beeping sounds

Do not give out my mobile no very often so do not understand why got this call - did not answer but see it could be a scam.

If this is Nationwide, it's high time they take the reigns and sort a number less prone to scamming or find a foolproof way for customers to recognise associated scams. Likewise check staff to ensure no one is letting the side down. All companies should do everything possible to protect customers or shut up shop. Callback arrangements should include customer knowing number and expected time as well as warnings about scammers. Leaving customers unprotected is unacceptable.....

This number rings my phone daily - I don't know who they but it is unwanted

I have just spoken to Nationwide by calling them directly, this is a Nationwide number for the sales team, but there was no notes/flags on my account to say that they had called me, she said if it had been a genuine call there would have been a note on my account the lady said to be very careful as they have had their number scammed before, so do NOT answer or give any information at ALL!

I suspect this being used by scammers so be careful. It's defiantly not the bank. !!!!!

SHE SAID SHE WAS FROM NATIONWIDE SAID MY NAME SAID I HAD MAID A LARGE DEPOSIT TODAY AND WANTED TO TALK ABOUT THE BONDS I SAID IT WASENT ME AND SHE HUNG UP

This seems to be a number used by Nationwide for outgoing calls. Someone called me on it but left a message and asked me to return the call to her branch number which was an 0345 number. But she only left a voice message after about six calls.

This is a Nationwide Bank number. Legit as far as I know

This ‘caller’ so tel number 0330 4605400 rang both my landline 01780 480891, and my mobile 07788 101706…. As I have had two x brain bleeds/strokes at age 50 in the last 12 months I am very much nervous about answering the telephone to numbers that I don’t recognise…. They did not leave me a message so I can only assume it was a call from a ‘nuisance’ caller….? I would v much appreciate it if somebody can put my mind at rest please….
