Had many calls from these people despite me asking them every time to remove my details from their records. I don't think they realise the irony of phoning people to ask if they are deaf !! "Well I can still hear the bloody phone can't I ?" Don't both with TPS. Been with them for 20 years plus. Used to be effective but now completely toothless

Just got a call from Adam, did I or had I worked in industry, first mistake never worked on a factory floor, got my name completely wrong, I guess from the other comments it is to do with hearing loss. If I have any hearing loss probably due to listening to AC/DC at high volume.

Getting regular calls from this number who are constantly asking for a Mr or Mrs Nicholls. They've been told dozens of times taht they have the wrong number but they refuse to remove my phone number from their database.

Call centre obviously, x3 today x2 hang ups and one of a gen t talking to colleague of his about areas in Wales, Bangor being one, becoming quiye a nuisance

The call went silent when I answered. I was expecting a call from Manchester (0161) so checked on the internet to see if this was the number before I rang back. Looks like it is a telemarketing company.

Phone rang, no one there and then went dead. 1471 indicated that the call came from 01618149349- we are on TPS.

Called me up at 17.31hrs on Monday,18th May. Guy sounded drunk and all I could hear was a office noise in the background. Hung up as wasting my time and applied my call-barring to this number. That will stop them permanently.

They called me today at 13:03, asked for my by name and said they had records that showed I'd worked in an industrial setting. I said either their records were wrong or they were lying. They hung up.

A bloke called me from the Hearing advice centre - I am a bit hard of hearing - when I tried to explain that he told me to wash my ears out. I'm guessing cold calling to the hard of hearing might not be the best strategy

Same as the others. Waste of time reporting the number to TPS as they need to EVERYTHING before they will do anything - which ain't much! Am convinced TPS sell on the numbers they get.

Just answered my deceased parents phone number and the caller asked if I was Mr or Mrs Fxxxxxxx I said no and was about to explain that they were no longer alive but I was their daughter but the caller hung up on me!!! Tried to ring the number back to request their details to be removed but it was an automated message saying that this is a telemarketing call and all their agents are busy and they may attempt to contact us again at a later time. This is after a call yesterday from a local (01724 area code) call which I answered and explained the circumstances and was told that our details would be removed from their database. Obviously this has not happened!!!!

They have rung me twice today with 15 minutes. They first call asked mine and my husbands occupation I told them and he said we were not eligible for any compensation within 15 minutes another man rang and told me what I had said earlier and we were eligible for compensation I told he not to call again and hung up just awaiting the next call now

I have received several calls from the above number for a Mr or Mrs Walker, as soon as I start to tell them they have the wrong number and not to call again the phone is put down at their end. I am frustrated that they can call me at will but refuse any request to stop.
