This is an SMS message from 447801802887. 3 Times in 1 Hour up to now.
Rang me at 23.30, waking us up. Not answered but what a nuisance.
This is the dreadful company BT at it again. I complained to the ICO in May but nothing was done. Received calls from the same number at 4.13 a.m., 12.58 and 1.03 p.m. Calls blocked but the log shows the timing.
said I had received a text message from a number( which I did not know) and to press 1 for options. I put receiver down!
Claimed to have BT SMS from Vodafone
I received two calls this weekend (Sat & Sun afternoon both between 3-5pm) from this number 0800 028 2321. Both times I did not answer. Anyone receive calls from this number recently?
Automated message call, very persistent.
Automated voice on the landline said there was a message and wanted me to press 1. It kept ringing late in the evening, so I left it and checked the number afterwards.
Kept ringing!
kept trying me and I ended up blocking it.
No message. The call terminated after two rings but did not identify as 'nuisance' as rhis type of call does.
On 02/05/2026, I submitted a report identifying the caller as BT with commentary about 'curfew' times. This morning I noted blocked calls from this company timed at 04.06 and, so far, a further call at 06.05. This is surely harrassment. I have contacted the Information Commissioners Office via TPS to demand something is done about this dreadful company.
It is BT stating sms options regarding timing of receipt of text messages. Press 1 apparently to change 'curfew' times. The caller is persistent having called me at least six times each of the last few days. The calls are now blocked but still show up in the log.
This is NOT A SCAM. I am being pestered by calls from this number - as late as 10:28pm. It is Openreach being totally unprofessional calling people at unreasonable hours, asking them to go to a weblink (from a landline!!! not possible) to confirm an appointment to install Digital Voice. The recorded message doesn't start to play until about 30-40 seconds, so people think it's a scam. I would love to call their chairman at a late hour and see how they like it !!!
