Supposedly O2 offering me upgrade on my phone, even though my contract is until autumn next year - somehow she knew it will expire next year. No one gives anything for free these days so I said I’ll call back later. She agreed and even said to ask for outbound department and had very native English accent - unlike last time they tried to scam me from different number posing to be O2 and caller had super strong Indian accent. Reading other comments I believe it’s scam and will block the number now. Like I said nothing comes for free these days 😂

Called purporting to be from 02 offering a deal on a new iphone. Offer included paying off the remaining balance on my existing contract. They knew my name, address, data usage, last billing amount, last 4 digits of my payment card and remaining amount and time left of my contract. First red flag was the spam call identifier on my phone alerting me, second was the urgency to do the deal (limited time of offer) , third was that is was a cold call, fourth was when I said I’d end the call and call 02 from a trusted number, I was told that the offer was only available via outbound calls from 02’s contact centre. Definitely a whiff of legitimacy, but there was a growing stench of a scam

Two calls now, no caller ID, it flashed up possible scam! No ID ,no message....no answer! Blocked!

Called 3x today. My phones states suspected scam. Didn't answer, now blocked. No voicemail.

Didn't recognise the number so didn't asnwer.

Got called three times over three days, one call on one day, a pause the day after then two other calls the next day. Never answered as I didn’t recognise the number.

Saying they are from curry's pc World offering fabulous upgrade deals. IPhone Pro max 14 35£ a mth. They think I was born yesterday. Golden rule if it sounds to good to be to true it generally is.

Unknown caller, did not answer and blocked number. But interestingly I'd just returned from South Asia and had accessed my O2 account online.

Exact same thing last night, let my guard down a bit when they started saying the right figures! Rang o2 and they sed they'd put an order on my account for the phone the scammer had offered me! Luckily they cancelled it but sounds like o2 has a hacker or something. They knew how much data I use per month
