020 3743 6946 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Cancelled my Virgin yesterday. Paying £53 a month for 100mb line. The day before when I wanted to cancel they offered me a better rate. Said I will think about it. Yesterday when I phoned to take the better rate they had changed their story and said I need to sign a new contract for the better rate. Today I get a call from Virgin twice from this number and both times hanging up just as I answer. Are they trying to harass me?

Virgin media called me when I cancelled yesterday. Sent me a text just now offering 100mb for £22 per month. Rip off.

Replying to myself! I had 4 calls in the last hour, I'm now blocking that number.

Same as many others, I cancelled my broadband package yesterday, I despise the fact they have the monopoly on high speed internet in my area and don't they know it! Charging me £53 a month for 200mb connection. They reduced it to £40 but no thanks. I'm risking it by moving to Sky where I got a lot more for my money. But I do pray the slower internet connection is stable!

I can only add to the previous comments .. I too think it must be Virgin as i cancelled my broadband & tv package . Thats the send time they've called . Ignored the last call, & like the previous person said , i wouldnt entertain them again , even if it was free .

Didn't answer. Cancelled Virgin Media broadband yesterday due to atrocious incompetence that even the complaints team managed to repeat when trying to 'help'! I wouldn't even stay with them if they paid ME for using their broadband! No idea if it was Virgin - no voicemail left - but other comments suggest it is the retentions team and that fits with my cancelling yesterday.

I’m guessing virgin media too. Had 2 calls already today and cancelled them yesterday. After 3 attempts calling them and even had a handler leave me live on the line while he went off without saying anything. Waiting for me to hang up so I would call again to speak to someone else. Terrible service. He finally hung up on me after my hubby took the phone and said hello over and over and over again. Terrible customer service, found out they have been ripping off my elderly mother for 40 years !!!! As she never changed package when my dad died. 😡

My guess is also Virgin Media. Cancelled yesterday and made it very clear they can't offer me anything as I've already signed with a new provider which is being installed this weekend. 3 missed calls from this number today by 12:10

Called back, looks to be Virgin Media. Cancelled package last night looks like they are trying to keep me.

It is Virgin Media Its part of the retentions team that kick in when you have actually started a cancellation. They are either - depending on your POV a hardcore retentions team determined to keep a customer OR an amazing bunch of guys n gals who can suddenly come up with the most splendid offers (sarcasm intended) They ONLY kick in when they know you really will be leaving

Same situation. I didn’t answer this call, but cancelled Virgin Broadband yesterday.

Looking at other comments it could be virgin as I cancelled virgin media yesterday. They don’t have any reason to call me as everything was completed yesterday. They’ve called 3 times today, I didn’t answer.

I think it could be a scam as they asked me fir characters from my password and when I hesitated they hung up.
