This could have been Virgin Media. I have cancelled my service, this appears to be a marketing tactic to get you to sign up yet again. No way.

Suspect Virgin Media as I cancelled them 2 days ago. I would sooner stick pins in my testicles than stay with Virgin Media.

Cancelled Virgin media yesterday as. Called to get a better offer on my broadband but all l got was a representative offer me a higher priced option, said thanks for nothing. Now looks like they can't take the hint so blocking the calls.

Also just cancelled Virgin Broadband. Received a text pretending to be a missed call notification. But no missed calls in my call log! Dodgy tactics by a pathetic company trying to keep my custom. But instead pushing me to never return!

Virgin media . Cancelled my service yesterday so probably going to offer me a better deal even though it has taken me 2 wks to finally get cancellation sorted. They kept offering better deals which why couldn't they do this in the beginning if they want you to stay. Won't be using them again

Virgin media. Cancelled my subscription last week. Took me ages via a chat line but much easier for me since I don’t hear so we’ll. was offered a reduced price but said no and explained why. We’ve had city fibre put in and doesn’t work with virgin. Calls several times every day since. Finally picked up today. Rejected another price offer. Clearly the caller had no info why I’d cancelled. Sounded like he was spaced out. Told him I was at work and put the phone down. Silence now.

Picked up and silence. Like others on this chain I cancelled virgin media yesterday. I will ignore if they call again.

Becareful. I cancelled vm yesterday and got this call.. They speak like they are from Virgin media and already kno your full name.. Then they want ur security password and information.. Sounding like they want to pass security before speaking to help.. Once collected I was asked questions and then said we can't do anything... Strange call... I said you don't sound professional demanding names and details.. Got responce not demanding and sorry got a sore throat finding it hard to talk... All suspicious

Likely VM, going on the previous comments here. I cancelled our package a day or two ago. I've reported the number as spam via my phone, and blocked it.

Called two times today , both times they hung up when answer machine kicked in. Blocked the number. Possibly Virgin media as I gave them my 30 days notice last night.

^ wasnt sure what category to mark this as, not technically spam but at the same tim it is. Was with virgin for an 18 month contract, throughout all that time they didnt once contact me and when problems came up trying to get speaking to an actual human was one of the most needlessly convoluted processes I have ever had to go through. Suddenly since telling them I don't want to renew my contract and for my end date to be the end of my service with them now their phones work and they are interested in trying to shove "offers" in my face. Which by the way are ridiculous, even with the "offers" they throw at me to try and convince me to stay they are still giving me prices almost double that of other providers, even when the competitors are offering higher speeds and higher minimum guaranteed speeds
