Keep getting calls for this number - blooming nuisance (the planned tighter laws may help reduce calls but why don't BT just block them all?). If we do pick up the land line, we always stay silent unless someone we know speaks first. Nuisance callers then tend to hang up - either automatically or after a few 'hello's' from their allocated agent. I then leave the phone off the hook until the BT wailing tone starts. On this call, I could hear the usual call centre noises in background. I am on the TPS list and visually screen most calls.
