Scam caller selling loft insulation, they don't like it when you waste their time. These calls eventually lead to Warmer Solutions and Sothern Eco Fix. All three have been reported to the ICO.

Young female voice asking me to submit to a survey regarding assistance travel which would last about fifteen minutes.

Well, I was out. Call came at 153pm. Same number. Left voicemail of a kettle being boiled for a cup of tea or coffee I guess.. probably catching a last drink in time to get back to it for 2pm..

Said was doing survey for nortyh wales police seemed to know date of specific report. Call got over ridden by same number saying spam alert, they called again but never spoke. Ill ignore in future

My phone tells me this is a potential fraud so no way was I gonna answer.

Probably a scam. Birmingham number, said calling from London. Medical heath wanted my details to see if i needed security alarm.

Actually missed this call, my phone security has flagged this number as -potential fraud. I won't be calling back.

The call was on BEHALF of a local government authority. I think the commenters here need to get their ears cleaned out, as at no point did they say they were calling FROM the council. Not a scam by any means, just a standard telephone survey.

Caller claimed to be from Newham Council - London. I had received a letter from the council regarding a phone survey so answered a lot of general questions. Nothing specific or personal. Checking paperwork received from the council, after the call was completed, I discovered that the number called from was not the one listed by the council. Number since blocked. Have reported to the council also.

The caller was male with slight accent possibly asian/West Indian carrying out a survey on behalf of Bromsgrove District Housing Trust. My number is ex_ directory and I do not give out information to anyone over the phone.

In the UK you text 7726 with the word SPAM and include the callers number in the message.

Survey on north wales police!!

Genuine call from a market research company operating on behalf of ALL local councils and also other local authorities, such as the police. Confirmed via Twitter from my local council. Too many people here are paranoid, ignore advice from those who think everyone goes home at 5pm.

like many other people have said the person behind this scam and using similar numbers is a fraudster called Stuart Wright of 21A plymouth road, barnt green, birmingham, B45 8JF. Date of birth:19/01/1965, It's no wonder he lives in a nice big house and drives a nice car he keeps scamming people!!

Welsh guy saying he was calling on behalf of the Lancashire Crime Comissioner and asked if I had 5 minutes to complete a survey. I hung up.

I’ve got calls from this number on 8/06/21, 17/06/21, 19/06/21, 20/06/21… Why are they keeping calling me?

Female rang me saying she is doing a survay for Lancashire Constabulary on local residents.......I work for them so soon told her and the call was ended.

From M.E.L research doing a short survey about local policing and what areas you think are important. I was suspicious at first but he didn't ask for any personal data and I took the survey. Just asked for a postcode at the end of the call. You can call them back and all their details are on their website.

Said was a survey from Lancashire police.bi said ivwas from a different country. She apologised and ended the call. Be going inbthe block list when I've had a bit of fun.....

Just spoke to a woman claiming to want to talk about the police in my area I stupidly went along with it because I had a few choice words to express about the police but I’m kicking myself now it was so a scam !!!

I receive up to 20 calls a day from random numbers that are all scams. This is yet another one. Dont answer block and ignore.

Apparently a survey for the local police?! I stupidly went along with it usually I wouldn’t have entertained it. sounded like a young lad. Gave my postcode, feel a bit worried now it’s obviously a scam

Caller said he was from Lancaster police and wanted to ask a few questions, but first he needed a few details. I said I thought it was a scam call and hung up

I send all unknown calls to voicemail. They don’t like that and they hang up straight away.

Same as other comments, I had been rang rust now at 7pm on a Friday? Saying they want 5 minutes to conduct a survey regarding Lancashire police. I said to ring back this time tomorrow but plan to block the number now. Didn't seem right never had surveys from the police before

Claimed to be from Lancashire police calling to survey about spending. When i objected to some of the questions they put the phone down. 13th Jan

Just had a call claiming to be from someone undertaking a survey from Lancashire Police. i basically gave a load of incorrect information and he realised i was taking the mick and hung up. Definitely blocking this one very dodgy.

Said he was conducting a survey regarding local policing, caller sounded like a teenager, not a confident speaker, told him I don’t know anything about local policing.

Unknown caller who didn't leave a message. From other posts here I think it might be a nuisance caller.

I recieved a call from someone called Isabella and she told me that she is from my local County council but when i researched this number it was coming from Birmingham and it was not coming from a County Council. I would love to know why they are telling stuff that is wrong.

Started calling me two days ago, up to 6 times a day between 7am and 10:30pm. Number was auto blocked by my phone after the first call but still appears in the call log.

The bloke said his name was Tony doing a survey on behalf of the local Council, I said I did not trust cold callers, he replied that he was not one? He put the phone down after a few more words!
