Said they're from EE and that I need to upgrade my sim card. I told them I will call EE directly myself to which they respond "How will you do that?". Hung up and called back- number could not go through

Claimed they wanted to change sim card because of BT EE merger but I have already done this. Said name was James but had Indian accent. Asked him where based but he said London. Cut him off. He tried to ring back but I blocked him.

Scam call saying my sim will be blocked soon and I need to upgrade. Indian accent. Continued to talk about EE merger with BT and said this is the reason I need to upgrade asap. I’m not with BT or EE.
