It would be from your Amazon driver. Sometimes we have to call customers if they haven’t a safe place or no neighbours are available. Or if it requires someone over 18 or a passcode. I tend to call again as I know many customers might this it’s a cold caller.

I was driving, answered on speaker, heard someone speaking in the background and then they hung up. When I reached my destination I saw I had a text message saying my Amazon delivery driver was having difficulty accessing our building. Obviously, as I answered someone opened the front door for him, hence the hangup. Genuine call as my parcel was delivered.

Saw an Amazon van pull up on my road, the driver walked right past my house so I assumed it wasn’t for me. Then I saw I had a missed call from this number a short while later. My mum called me later on to confirm she had sent us a package (a birthday present) and she’d received notification from Amazon that they had a problem delivering the item and had taken it back to the depot for delivery another day. Very very annoying as it’s ridiculously easy to deliver to our house and the driver didn’t even bother to open my front garden gate let alone knock on my front door. Poor service!

Didn’t answer the call because it was a number I didn’t recognise and I’m sick of getting phishing phone calls. And I no longer trust numbers I don’t recognise, if it’s a genuine call then why don’t they leave a message? And if it’s an Amazon delivery driver why did they call from London when I don’t live in London? Very suspicious. I will be blocking the number.

I had a call from this number today. I said 'Hello', the man said 'Hello' back and then hung up. I had no idea who had called until I just read the comments. Looks as if, from the email notification I later received, that my Amazon delivery has been left with a neighbour, but no card was left to advise me of this and, obviously, it would have made sense and would have been useful if the person who called me had notified me of who they were and why they were calling.

It was someone pretending to be Amazon , they came out with a name and postcode which was incorrect. They then asked for my information which I refused. The person Laughed and cut off. Do not give them information as they are phishing!

Supposed Amazon driver telling me he had a parcel for me but had no address. I have no outstanding Amazon orders to be delivered. Spoke to Amazon customer services on their webchat and they don't know the number. DO NOT ANSWER!!!

I have been called on my landline twice now, I think both times from this number. Both times said amazon delivery, but neither time was I expecting one. The first time he said he was outside my door. He wasn't. I have blocked this number now. Not sure I should have, but I dont give my landline number for deliveries, so think it was a scam. I live alone so not taking the chance.

We had the same AMAZON/Delivery experience as others - why do they not show 'AMAZON' on the 'phone screen? We ignore all calls like this. I'll add to my 'Contacts' under 'Amazon' so I shall know next time.

Amazon delivery man and sent he missed me and package I had ordered was left at my front door. A photo confirming was also received through Amazon website my notifications of the package at my front door.

Missed 2 calls from this number (was 028 so didn’t answer as have had spam calls from numbers like this in the past). So apparently it was Amazon and my order now shows as they attempted delivery. My doorbell works. I was home. I had an earlier Amazon delivery today. WHY DID THEY NEED TO CALL?! Just press the buzzer!!!

Amazon! I am a delivery driver for Amazon and this is the intermediate number we call to contact the customer, so the customer does not get our personal phone number! Nobody ever answers as they think it's a scam but nope, it's amazon and you are likely expecting a parcel which will not be delivered if you do not answer! Reason's we may contact, Asking for a safe place to leave parcel, parcel may be delayed, unable to access a block of flats, no answer at door etc..

The fact that you said 'YES' is all that the caller wanted, they will add this to a confirmation call that you have ordered something that you have no knowledge of. Be carful, if you don't know who is calling say 'Who is calling' only, if in doubt put the phone down without saying anything, there are loads of scams out there.
