Did'nt answer call

Called using an old name, claiming to be "housing disrepair services". Call centre probably trying to harvest data

Called me to say he is calling from housing disrepair services, its a scam. Indian sounding man trying to tell me he can help me with any disrepair in my house.

Indian man, called me by name . Phone about housing repairs- scam

Called at 2.15pm. I didn't answer as I knew it was a scam. I do not answer from unknown numbers.

Calling regarding housing repair, but they had my name this time! I don't live in social housing (never have) and there is no damage to my property. Asked them to remove my details, and blocked the number

Claims to be calling from a Housing Repair Team based in London. They claim to be calling about repair to a council house. Cannot tell me how they obtained my information. SCAM CALL

Phone rang then call dropped when answered. On calling back, the man who answered said I must’ve called them to report damage to my social housing. I asked him to hold while I blocked his number and I ended the call. Obviously a scam as I don’t live in social housing so would not have reported damage in one. Usually scam calls show an unusual mobile number. This was a London landline number. Best advice, don’t call back. If it’s genuine they will call again or leave a voice message.

There was silence for a few seconds after I said hello several times, and then the call was disconnected.

Rang several times before I answered it, nothing said… I said “Hello” short space then auto-reply “goodbye”. Could they be recording voices for AI use??

Delay in answering then a young woman asked for me, got my name wrong and said she was calling about housing disrepair. I told her she was a liar and hung up.
