Caller claimed to be from Nationwide regarding an urgent issue with my current account, I didn't give them any details and called Nationwide who confirmed there had been no contact from themselves. Be aware!

Scam. Asked for my personal banking details, but would not clarify why. I asked to speak to a manager, which he refused because I did not confirm my details. He then refused to provide me with his first name, despite this being a legal obligation. I will be reporting this to Nationwide now - DO NOT SHARE YOUR BANKING DETAILS!!!!

It is Nationwide Money Worries. You get a callback if you sent them online budget -- if you decided to talk to them about debts. This is also the number of their Money Worries line, which is to be used in case of persistent debts, being unable to pay on their borrowing and similar problems. My understanding is that they will try to "help with the budgeting" etc. It may be unpleasant, but (as proven above) is NOT a scam. P.S. I don't work for, or am not affiliate with, Nationwide.
