I answered my phone with "Hello can I help you". Blank sound with clicks and tape ( ? ) running. Femail voice then said " I am Joe the energy adviser in your area. Are you the house owner". I said " Never mind that where is my area" there was a silent gap. I then said " You say you are the energy adviser in me area. Where is my area". There was then a longish silent gap with the sound of a tape or discs running. The phone was then put down and the dialing code sounded. When I checked the number it was given as +44 2034249210. This would indicate it came from a number outside the UK and then transferred to the London number before being passed on to me. I have now placed number in Junk Mail with B T 1572.
