Female caller with strong Asian accent said they were from Virgin/O2 and that my SIM card would expire in two days. Tried to get me to give out my email address. Got quite angry when I refused. Definitely a scammer. Blocked the number.
Said from 02, sim needed changing to 5g, said new sim arriving via DPD tomorrow and needed security details first. Asked for email address. I said if you're really 02 you'd know that and hung up.
False O2, trying to change your account contract so they can use your number
Supposedly from O2, sim will be blocked in 2 days, new one with new number will be with me next day, guess what, no new sim! Knew it was a scam but played along. She sent text branded O2 to prove where she was calling from, nope! Send me email, what's your email address? If she has my account details, she'd know what it is! She then wanted me to confirm all my details to prove who I was - she phoned me!!! After 15+ mins, she started getting angry and eventually hung up. She'd called multiple times and once since, now blocked
They called me relentless and wouldnt listen to me, told me they were from 02 and my services were going to be blocked, they wanted personalised al details which I didnt give. I called 02 and they advised they're is nothing wrong with my sim and it isnt going g to stop working. They advised not to give any details out
That idiot said she will block my card xD
called many times saying I needed a sim upgrade, and wanted me to overrule the security warnings, give Pin numbers etc
Hung up multiple times, constantly called said was an O2 sim upgrade and don’t sound convincing enough. Sound like scam
They rang to say they were calling from O2 and that the account holder needed to upgrade their sim card. I was not convinced and refused to engage.
