0161 394 1711 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Asking for details about a recent PPI claim that HMRC took tax on, confirmed my email address to me and asked if I was working and paid tax said they aren’t asking for personal information questioned who they are and what they want the information for they hung up. Scam I’ve blocked the number

No answer. .. and immediately hung up . ... it a scam

Answered the phone and they hung up.

Indian guy says he’s from o2 offering 30% discount until the end of my contract?? First mistake coz my contract is already expired. I asked where is he calling from he says London; off an 0161 number? I told Jim to keep the discount he hung up.

Pretending they are from 02 Wanting my bank details SCAM

Told my they was from 02 Wanted my bank details Told him no you are a SCAM He said ok bye bye

Called whilst I was driving - female Asian sounding voice. I hung up

Silence then hung up after a second

My boyfriend has had a couple of calls from this number and both times they hung up. Bearing in mind the comments on here where they are Curry's, O2 and Carphone Warehouse (who went out of business!) he's blocking them!!

I answered it was blank then some Indian guy was singing down the phone to me. Scum.

Had exactly the same issue as others. Said was 03 offering 30% discount

Apparently from Vodafone offering 40% discount

claimed to be from hmrc

Answered the phone and they said "I am a big scammer" so I hung up and blocked the number.

Said that he is from O2 offering %30 didcount for next 12 month. He woul send me 2 text and then he would ask me to confirm that my details are correct.... by clicicing the first one they gain acess to your O2 account, change your password and email. They purchase expencive tablets or phones and you dont get notified as they did change your email. Definately scam, as i already had experience with this tipe.
