Ditto as per Rob s. told me they wanted to talk about The Greendeal scheme.When I enquired about the location of their offices,Wayne's response was 'I don't know,I think the south side, you seem to be asking a lot of questions sir'.He said that he would remove my details from their database but so did the caller 2 weeks ago since which time I've had 2 calls a day.BT turned my enquiry and complaint into a marketing opportunity and wanted to sell me special phones and a package costing at least £5 a month! Wayne was calling from 08454290022.I'm not entirely convinced that this outfit is not connected to other well-known companies nationwide.

just had a call from energy care centre on 08454290022...fifth time this week,had asked to be omitted last Saturday.todays call was from some Glaswegian pondscum calling himself WAYNE..so much for caller preference..

I keep getting a recorded message call about a the National Database shows I have not had my free energy assessment. I press button 2 to speak to the company and they answer as the Energy Care centre. I have told them several times to take my number off their database but I keep getting the call. I have reported them twice now to the ICO and will report them every time I get the call from now on. I guess most people won't be bothered reporting a cold caller so the actual complaints the ICO get must just be the tip of the iceberg.

Energy Care Centre calling every day at about the same time. If I ask for details about the company they just hang up. If I tell them I am registered with TPS they just hang up. They are using a variety of different phone numbers but as they are using the same script and questions it's obvious it's the same company.

Beware of a Penicuick Windows scam. They purport to have funds to buy your old windows, it sounds like a government funded scheme when they phone you. Actually they fund it themselves and charge you your refund in the bill. They actually get rude and abusive when you rumble them. I guess the guy setting up the appointment gets paid on the number he sets up Please pass onto any vulnerable person, it sound plausible until you scratch the surface. Ask them where the funding comes from? Oh forgot to say the 1st call comes from someone who says they are from The Energy Care centre, very !!!

This company Energy Care Centre (02031968115) have been calling non stop over the last 4-5 months. Initially the call had a message to book an appointment or to stop receiving calls (didn't work). I have pressed option 2 for more details to find out who the company is etc. and as soon as you start asking questions about the government scheme and what is involved in it they just hang up. Any trustworthy company would be more than happy to give you facts and details of their products/services but they are obviously just try to scam the weak and vulnerable. I would certainly avoid and hope once the warmer months come round the calls stop.

Received a call from Guess What "The Energy Care Centre" . I have had a few calls now from them now, on the other occasions I told them that I was TPS registered & they hung up...This time though I played along with the call handler to try & get some info, I said I was just about to head out but I was interested & asked where their Head Office was & he said Glasgow, I asked how can I contact them to follow up the inquiry & he gave me a t/n of 0141 774 1117 ( Bogus t/n ) .......I then said that I needed to go out & he hung up...I tried the 1471 service and the t/n was 0203 198 8115....I couldnt connect to this service.........next step will be to contact TPS & the Watchog.

Received call from someone who said they were calling from the Energy Care Centre. They refused to give their address, although did say they were in Glasgow, and weren't impressed when I told them they were breaking the law because we're registered with the TPS. When pressed, they hung up. The number recored as having phoned was 0843 8840025. I'll report this to the TPS, but that organisation seems to be very ineffective.
