0843 724 4156 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

This number keeps on calling me despite being asked not to.

This number called my mobile this morning. I don't answer unknown calls, particularly those from 08 numbers, so unsure who it actually was or what they wanted. Seems from comments here that they are a call centre or PPI. Isn't it about time that these scammers are prosecuted? Spam email is against the law. Why not spam phone calls? I would advice against pressing 5 or 9 if that is what you are asked to do. You end up paying for the call and at premium rates.

Several times I have pressed 9 as instructed by the automated caller to remove my details from their list, but calls keep coming through. This time I pressed 5 to speak to somebody, was asked for my name and told him that I would like to be removed from their calling list - he simply hung up without another word. How do we get this stopped?!

These scammers need a good slapping.

Another nuisance call. Nowadays I don't answer any call showing an 0843 prefix.

Absolutely ignorant staff at the other end .... read from a script, hang up as soon as you start to ask questions

had 3 calls from them today, then the 4th one, I responded by blowing a whistle down the phone, I guess it had an effect of ringing in their ears, I haven't had a call since, if I do the whistle is at the ready

I missed the call but why would this company want to phone me? I would not need to hire anything
