Mobile says this number is suspected spam (although the number is listed on EDF website - Revenue collection, guess it could be spoofed). Number calls me regularly and I never answer as my EDF account is up to date with payments and meter readings. They never leave a voicemail either.
Likely as scam as they have called twice, I haven't answered and they haven't left a message - if a real company wants to speak to you they would leave a message. Note that others say the callers claim to be EDF but BEWARE - it's easy to spoof a real number. One person reports they tried to get them to download a link and give account details rather than give a meter reading. This is a classic RED FLAG.

Music playing when I answered, I see these calls as a sport so waited for a human. They knew my name, said they were from EDF, had an Indian accent. He then started to thank me for answering the phone and then the line just went dead. I didn’t even have a chance to mess around and waste their time.
