Claimed to call on behalf a Bournemouth based Domestic Appliance insurance company. Gave 2 different names for company — refused about 10 times to give the company name and address. Some evidence that they had access to genuine data. Claimed to be about an existing contract, but immediately pivoted when told I was another person, and did not have an existing contract. Only one contact so far. Caller “Daisy” claimed to be local to Bournemouth — very good, and fluent, command of English, but clearly a native, and inhabitant of, Indian subcontinent— probably Sri Lanka. No unambiguous evidence to distinguish between “Telemarketer” and “Scam/ Fraud”. :-(
