Received a call today asking for our director by name, wouldn't tell me a name only that he had spoke with him already and i should put him through. Immediately knew something wasn't right, so i told him he wasn't available and i wouldn't be passing anything on unless he told me who he was and where from...eventually got a name of Tom Clark of Clarks. very rude and stand offish.
This gentleman called and was very rude! Didn't give his name, who he worked for or what he wanted and then proceeded to tell me what he thought of me. Said he didnt work for a company either. Then said he was going to report me to OFCOM!
Two calls today from Tom on different numbers. Again asking for the MD by name but wouldn't give information about where they were calling from or what it was regarding. Hung up when I said the MD wasn't available. I fully expect them to call again going by what everyone is saying on here. Fully intend to be just as ignorant.
Asked for one of our Directors by name, said to tell him it was Ben, made out like our Director would know who he was, he didn't, had no clue and told me to get rid of them as they were obviously not worth talking to & if they called again, to just put the phone down! 'Ben' acted so surprised he wasn't remembered!! :) So, Ben Carter, if you are reading this, get lost
cold callers very rude and hung up when I asked to eamil instead!
Tom called and asked to speak to the MD but would not say what it was regarding. When i told him the MD was busy, he immediately hung up.
They rung 4 times asking for someone who doesn't work here and they didn't have the right company name and after being asked multiple times why they are calling, they kept ringing on 3 different numbers. They refused to tell us where they were calling from and were incredibly rude.
Asked for the director by name. When I advised that they were unavailable, they asked when they would next be in the office. While I was responding, they hung up mid-sentence.
Lady asked to speak to someone by name, said they weren't based in our office, then asked for details and when I said i couldn't give them out due to company policy, she hung up on me.
Jamie Smith - needs to not throw his toys out the pram - refused point blank to give any more details than his name, tried to imply he mates with the MDs, was going to let the Director know we'd spoke (so scary, seeing as the MD refused his call) and the Director asked 'Who is he' despite the aforementioned.
Hung up when not put through to the MD.
Asked to speak to the MD, was very evasive and then became very rude when asked where he was calling from.
Calling every week asking to speak to the MD by name as if he is her best friend! Nobody gets past me if they will not tell me their name or where they are calling from. Obstructive lady so I have blocked her number.
