Told me they had previously spoken to Gordon one of our directors in our company not true & then asked to speak to any director I asked the his company name - Thomas & Co when I asked the nature of the call he hung up

Called and asked for the director by name. Very odd conversation, we hung up.

Rang through wanting to speak to director - declined - they said they had business with them and would call their mobile number anyway, I very much doubt that.

Extremely rude to me. Asked for MD, company policy not to take cold calls. Caller told this and then proceeded to tell me he was sick of this and was I going to put him through or what. He'll take his business elsewhere. So I said do so and hung up.

Said his name was James Lee from Better. We have had calls from "Better" before and blocked, so they are obviously trying different numbers. Put him on hold and told him that the MD does not know what the call is about (James advised before being put on hold that the MD would deffo know him) He said he would just email him directly - not sure how he got the MDs email but he can try! Very pushy and once he was told no, he put the phone down - waste of time and needs to get a BETTER job.

Regularly call asking for a member of staff who they say have spoken to before but will not say what the call is about and hangs up if not put through straight away

Oscar called today, asked for a director by name but refused to say where he was calling from. Unfortunately for him he asked for a director that makes none of the decisions so i know he hasn't spoken to him before.

Georgia called asking for one of our Directors by name. She claimed he would know who she was but I said we both know that's not true. She didn't like that and pretended to be offended! No one ever calls him by the name she was using, it appears on official documents but is not the name he is usually known by. If she had actually spoken to him previously as she claimed, she would have known that.

Spam. Unsolicited call asking for company director.

Woman called Emily called, very polite (at first) and asked for me by name. When I questioned the purpose of the call and did not confirm who she was talking too she quickly became rude and very short tempered. Obviously she is part of a scam and in my opinion needs anger management training.

Keeps on calling asking for the MD- won't say who they are and then hangs up on me. Can't call them back as line always busy. Will chew their arse off when they call again.

Received a call today asking for our director by name, wouldn't tell me a name only that he had spoke with him already and i should put him through. Immediately knew something wasn't right, so i told him he wasn't available and i wouldn't be passing anything on unless he told me who he was and where from...eventually got a name of Tom Clark of Clarks. very rude and stand offish.
