Said they were Essex and Suffolk water. Said my homeserve was due for renewal. He said I'd had it for 3 years. I told him in don't have it and never have. He hung up.
Same as the other people reported, scammers beware !
Said they were from Welsh Water and calling regarding the cover I have with them at a an address I haven’t lived at for years. I said I don’t live at that address and they put the phone down. They did have my correct name and it was a previous address but I was never the home owner and did not have their cover. Definitely a scam beware!
Something about drain cover from a property I haven’t lived in for 10 years. They hung up as soon as so said I don’t live there.
Called saying they were from Severn Trent and they would renew my external drainage policy at a reduced rate and asked for bank details etc. said I would call them back. I rang Severn Trent who confirmed wasn’t them and I had no external drainage policy with them also rang homeserve who offer policies for this and again knew nothing about it. Obviously it was a scam
