Call received through on our administration department line claiming to be from Dell Technologies and asked to speak to whoever was in charge of our IT Department. Asked to send an email through to our info inbox and he replied with "my emails are internal only" pretty sure that's not a thing but sure. Had a good laugh with our IT guy about that part.
Fraud callers drumming for cybersecurity business.
The caller pretended to be from Dell, calling because someone had changed the name on our account. Load of rubbish!
Called reception at worked claimed to be from Dell asking to speak to the IT manager, I advised no-one was available, asked what it was regarding, he replied the Dell account (pretty sure we don't have one!) I asked waht is the issue with the account, he went quiet then pretended he couldn't hear me, then hung up!
Called my business' customer service line saying they're from Dell asking to be put through to IT. We are running Dell servers, but Dell wouldn't phone our customer services line to get in touch with us; they'd email our IT team directly.
Scammers, they usually pretend to be from Intel and try desperately to be put through to the IT department of any business.
