Left message with reception claiming to be from BT suggesting that due to works in the area our line was going to be disconnected if we didn't speak to them to confirm it was in use. Turned into a sales call selling their phone services. Fraudulent methods.
Claiming to be from BT but aren't. Trying to get a meeting with someone to come out and quote for a new phone sytem. avoid
Same as the other reports, they claim to be from the BT migration team, but have no account details or information. They've called us before from a different number and tried to make out that it's regarding work relating to the copper lines in the area, and how it may disrupt services. They're really trying to get you to agree to a telecoms contract, and are a pushy group called Colt Technology Services. Lying from the first conversation to get business just shows what kind of low lives these people are.
They said they were from BT and that my landline was going to be disrupted due to works happening in the road next to me on my analogue line. On a quick google I can see it is a different company registered. My business has never been with BT and I asked where they got my number from and they couldn't answer this.
Reported to be a BT migration unit, no identity given, and did not know any details of the account they wished to discuss. If not a scam, they need to work on their staff's telecommunications skills.
