Called saying o2 4G sims will be closed tomorrow and DPD need to deliver a new sim, tried to confirm if I was home and my email address too.
O2 nonsense , heavy accent
Claimed to be O2 (I'm not a customer) & that 4G service was about to be discontinued so I would need a new SIM.
Man said his name was David from my network provider O2, so I hung up immediately as I am not with O2. Definite scam, immediately block
Women said she was from O2 and needed to issue me a new sim and when it arrives to phone them, I ended the call as it was clear it was a scam. She phoned again same story so I said ok, she said she needed to pass me to her supervisor, I said not interested as obviously a scam to get address and bank details. I said not interested she shouted we will cut your phone of. So clearly a scam.
A lady called with heavy accent saying she's calling from O2. I don't know what she wants after asking for a few times. I honestly think it is a scam and she's very cautious about what she's telling me. I am not a customer of O2 and not registered or showed any types of interests to their service.
This number called me claiming to be O2, she then preceded to tell me my number ending …. would be deactivated in 14 days! 1, I’m not an O2 customer and 2, I can smell a scammer a mile off! Please be aware this is most definitely a scam, don’t fall for it.
