They leave messages about amazon and other companies, they pretend to be a bank. They use a computer generated voice stating suspicious transactions detected etc.. its the usual bullsh*t. For all you old gits out there, dont fall for these scams, you only increase the amount trying them on the rest of us. If idiots wouldn't fall for them... then these scams would dry up ! They usually call in silent clusters of numbers, first is to check line is active.. then the deluge of automated messages start not long after. I always let my answer machine take them and then i check, if its ONLY legit numbers i know then ill call back.. otherwise I just ignore the calls.

My phone says it was a nuisance call. Phoned twice in last hour.

Called my landline and hardly anyone has that number and it is only for emergencies, not had a call on it for years. They called and didn’t speak just hung up

this number called twice, about 5/10 minutes apart. i felt it was dodgy so stayed silent, letting our answer message play out. they left no message and on each occasion they rang off after a few seconds. number erased.
