Claimed to be from Eon and wanting to talk to us about our energy supply. We dont get our energy from Eon, and he claimed i was mistaken. He also didn't know company name or name of the account holder.
Got my name wrong- asked for "the owner"- Claimed was our energy provider but offered no name nor company. insisted to speak to the owner as our meter had a loose wire. insisted was not a sales pitch. when i said the owner is not going to take the call he raised his voice and huffed at me so i hung up.
Claim they were from Apple to confirm I spent £800

Said they were a card machine provider not sure if its legitimate or not?

Claimed to be sky offering me a deal
Allegedly British Gas Lite cold calling to offer 20% discount on our electricity and gas. Caller is not BGL! Nor do they know what I currently pay so their opening line of a discount is an outright lie.
