I was called today. Claimed to be from ASDA. Said they were ringing people who hadn't shopped with them for a while. The caller sounded possibly South African, was polite and called me maa'am.

I didn’t answer the call, but when I saw that reports said Asda I thought I’d check and called Asda customer service. I was reliably informed that the number had nothing to do with Asda and not to answer it and definitely not to give out any information. So, I’ve now reported the number to Asda and have blocked the number on my phone.

They were saying they were from Asda seeing why we hadn’t shopped in store for a while ? Very weird
