They will advise you that they are calling from o2 and that your SIM card is going to disconnect in the next 24/48 hours due to network upgrades to 5g plus. They then transfer you to a 'supervisor' to go through everything. Supervisor confirms your sim will disconnect. I ask twice for them to confirm that they are calling from o2 directly..... they advise 'yes ma'am' I then proceed to tell them that I do not have a physical sim, my sim is digital and I work within fraud for the government so I would like them to be really sure that they are calling from directly from o2 before we carry on with the conversation. Call ended. If these people call you, hang up do not give your details, certainly do not give any payment details. Hang up and call o2, 202 from your phone and speak with them directly if you have concerns.
