I also received a text claiming to be Santander. Ironically I have been looking on Airbnb today but obviously this screams scam as well as the fact I don’t bank with Santander!!

Recieved the same text! I do have an account with santander but knew it was a scam so ran a Google search or the number and bingo! SCAM

Received a text claiming Santander stopped a payment for £400ish for a AirB&B f4om leaving my bank 🙄🤬🤮

Same thing just now. Identical amount to Airbnb etc. deleted

Also received a text claiming to be santander saying to call this number, clearly fraud, annoying that the numbers owner isnt arrested.

I received this text from an unknown mobile number "SANTANDER: We stopped a £416.72 transaction to Airbnb. If this wasn't made by you, contact us immediately at 020 7088 8028"

I’ve just had the same text message. I do have an account with Santander but immediately recognised it as a scam.

Not a phone call but text same as above don’t have account with Santander

I have just had the same pretending to be Santander.

I just got exactly the same message

My wife received the same message a few minutes ago.

I believe this is a fraud as I also just got a text about a santander trasaction that is not on my account.
