0191 429 0258 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Phone rang once then hung up before I could answer, sign up for some dubious scam and offer my bank details. Life's full of missed opportunities I guess.

BT sales. After costing up a broadband package on the BT website they called to follow up as I didn’t complete the order.

Had this call two days running on my Mobile. If as suggested it mabe BT, I was reserching Broad Band deals around this time. Hope this is helpful information.

Claiming to be from bt saying I got broadband in my basket and would I like to purchase.. when I said I already got bt broadband connection went dead...

Bt number. Made an order online the next day called me .

Just came on here to check the number and am now convinced it was legitimate. I was halfway through an order for BT broadband and left my details so I’m guessing they’re just following that up.

Definitely a Legitimate BT Number

He said he was from BT and asked quite many privacy questions including birthday etc. And supposed to ask more about my past three years location and i found it quite private so not finished that call and said i will make my own order online. The next happened thing is that someday my Barclays credit card was fraud transaction transaction. And luckily the fraud monitoring team called me that they blocked this transaction. Please do not respond to any calls that is not official or at least check their staff ID to move on the cold calls.

Number not known (01914290258) and inevitably is a scam caller to mobile phone. Called at 1:43pm on Tuesday 14th February 2023.

It is BT. I was on their website yesterday and progressed an order but stopped before checking out.

BT - I placed an order with them at the weekend for broadband.

It's not a scam. It's BT. I was looking at Black Friday deals and left my details on the website, and had not finished my purchase. BT called up to follow it up, but I was not able to answer in time. It is probably the case that the worker could not be bothered to let it ring long enough, so just rang it and ticked their box to prove that they attempted the call.

0191 429 0258 Called and left no message. I’ve read the comments and seen that it could possibly be BT, I’m not with BT so they have no reason to be phoning me.

Legitimate call from BT. I was on their website earlier and he knew I have abandoned a broadband order midway. He seemed happy to leave it when I told him I had phoned in and sorted it out. If it was a scam then they have access to BT’s website.

Repeated calls from this number. Having read comments above I have not answered.

Persistent nuisance scammer.... B.T. do NOT make cold calls....

This number 'called' me today....saying he was from BT. As per our local neighbourhood watch here in Windsor, we are assured that BT never cold call. If you have a reason to deal with a problem involving them, YOU call them and they will deal with the problem. Therefore, ANYONE saying that they are from B.T. is a scammer. With all best wishes...

caller said he was from BT. asked but no subject reason giver. Said he would call back later but did not. suspect scam or similar. have had other calles from 0191 in the past, all have been sacms or unsolicited sales, life ins or washing machine ins renewal. All are RUBBISH

No one there, caller terminated

Has called twice I last 7 days. Never leaves a message just a long silence before hanging up.

Phoned twice left no message. On second occasion long pause, then hung up.

Had a call at 18.40 hrs claiming he was calling from BT not sure if this is a genuine call so if anyone had a call using this number01914290258 please let me know.
