Woman with an Indian accent told me she was calling as I had overpaid £119 on my washing machine warranty....wanted me to confirm my bank details (She had to be joking!) I told her I don't give out my bank details over the phone & anyway she should have them on record and she could just refund the amount to the same accountfrom which the money had been taken.
Female woman called saying she was from Virgn Media, I said 3 words (Hello, Oh yes) and they dropped the call.

Woman with an strong Indian accent called and wanted to check if I had purchased a gift voucher for Amazon that morning – couldn't understand what she said the amount was. Replied that I'd not bought anything from Amazon or weeks and I couldn't understand what she was saying – she hung up before I did. She called me on the office phone – a business line that doesn't usually get scam calls.
Hi. A lady with string Indian accent called wanted to help about virgin media problems the passed the call to the manager and he asked to disconnected the line and open the safari website at this stage I recognised the scam and ended the call, they called more 3 times but I did not answer. Sounds its a kind of scam.
Call received early morning, Sunday 13/03/22. Caller rang off as soon as I answered. Wonder if they'd spoken to me if I had sounded more elderly.
Called me today (12/03/2022) at 10:33am on my X-directory, TPS registered land line. Very thick Indian accent, I could barely understand them. Something about a refund for washing machine extended warrenty (the real company for which do not have my land line number). Company name was possibly deliberately garbled, they used an obviously fake person name for themself. Typical scam phone call so gave them nothing, not even confirmation of anything they said. This crap needs to be stopped, it's beyond a joke now.
Called me -foreign accent-and said something about a security problem with my router, asked if I had a message on computer screen- I gave him my own message!
This number has called me about 5 times over past 2 weeks and always before 8.30am so I dont answer it
