Claimed to be from EDF (our energy supplier) and said they needed to check our postcode, then said current invoice was wrong and they were sorting it out, then started asking for details off our invoice, essentially trying to get our end contract date. Told them I would call their office directly and hung up.

Called saying from our energy company and issue with bill. this is the same call we have been having with the same call 'transcript' for about 2 years. Each time a different number but the same thing. I have checked previously with our supplier, who have said they do not recognise the number and as we are receiveing our bills fine we now just hang up as i think i can tell them what they are going to say first now, they have rang so much.

They said after I called back “you have received the response center” I picked up when they called me previously and they were quiet on the other side of the line and hung up
