It really is the police, I accidentally called the emergency number on my phone they called back to check it was all OK.

Had a phone call my phone was in my pocket didn't lock it it rang emergency number had a texts from Wiltshire police with reference number to phone spoke to them and they closed my case

Said there had been a 999 call from my phone. They were returning because they’d heard a male voice before hanging up. None of this had happened. Man on phone didn’t seem happy that I was insistent that nothing had happened.
