Ditto to earlier comment. Answered mobile and played along. He wanted to verify the "accident". I said to him I was quite happy to talk to him about the "accident" but he needed to verify it to me first. He said he couldn't and I said I'm not going to either and that we could be playing this game for ages. He hung up!!!! Ha Ha. Arseholes.

Phone identified it as possible scam. I did not answer. Number is now blocked.

I decided to answer it and played along with the caller..( He was indian called Harris ) You could tell he was reading from a script.. They called to talk about the car accident I was in. I told them ive never been in a car accident. They said they had my details from someone who hit me... I said sorry, cant have been me.. He said why... I said, I dont have a drivers licenses... He gave up and said he would remove my number from the system :-)

I also got a call this afternoon, called back. No one answered. I don’t know any one in Edinburgh.

rang my wife's mobile twice today, 18/04/2024, once this morning, could not understand what the caller was saying so hung up, rang again at 19.00, rang back, no answer No idea why they would contact us, we're 500 miles at least away from Edinburgh
