I have a contract with Tesco Mobile/02. I told the person on the line my contract was with Tesco. He asked me to confirm my number. Told them he must know as he phoned me in the first place . I did say you could be a scam. Said he would phone back in an hour and hung up. Gave him no details
Said it was O2
Do not give these people any information. They said they were from O2 and they managed to make me get an actual text from actual O2 with a code on it. I gave them the code and then I got a text from o2 saying my password has been successfully changed. They asked for my mothers maiden name next. By this point I had clicked on and told them to F you know where. Called O2 and they confirmed it is a scam and these people are trying to get phone contracts out in my name. You could imagine how disastrous this could have been!
