Just kept ringing for a long time. Didn’t answer.
pretended from BT and that my landline had received a text and it had gone to BT's messaging service, a) I'm not on Bt b) my landline provider doesn't accept texts to any messaging service, c) on another 'look up site' someone else was told this number proported to be from Nationwide. It can't be all these variouis things so SCAM. Avoid. Don't press anything.
Just had 4 phone calls from this number this morning starting at 6.30am. As I did not recognise this number I did not pick up. Extremely annoying. How is it that certain individuals can get hold of my number and that of others to irritate and annoy? BT and other large telecom companies should have more robust filtering systems in place!
12.34pm Number not recognised so not answered. Caller rang off when answering machine kicked in. Reading this I'm glad I didn't bother
Called me at 07:06 this morning. Thankfully my landline has Call Guardian so unless the caller identifies themselves they cut cut off without bothering me.
It called me and said that I had a bt message and I just hung up on them did not trust them
This is a text service number. It calls landlines when someone sends a text to it. The system intercepted the message, translated it to audio and will then attempt to relay it via this number. Most phone providers use this free to answer BT service. When you pick up, a computer voice will tell you the originating number before offering options. Ignore the options. Only daft people press buttons on your phone just because a computer voice tells you. The message will be read read out when the computer runs out of options. The system only works on landline phones. Messages are deleted after 24 hours.

Total fraud\scam, using bank ppi, saying they have claimed compensation of £2550 + interest of £1550 from your bank, when asked what the name of my bank is, i said my bank was "bank of paris" (which doesn`t exist), and they didn`t know this, then they gave me a ref number and and id number, saying they don`t ask for bank or card details, and the cash was in a wallet ?, and passed me to another asian, he then asked me the id and ref numbers, which i gave the wrong ones, confused he then asked for my phone no to check the numbers? and then he gave some more id and ref numbers and said these were the correct ones, which where also different to the originals ref and id numbers, an then said i wasn`t good with tech, and said he will help me to access this wallet, he then asked me to put my phone on loud specker (why), and go to the play store and download an app named anydesk (which he could then use to access my phone via the remote access facility ) to steal bank details, identity, passwords/codes etc, these scum need to be stopped, report to police phishing, financial conduct authority
