Just blocked my computer. Switching off and switching on resoved it. Did not dial the 08085020664 number. Obviously a scam.
I clicked on an email and suddenly my screen told me computer was blocked and I needed to call Microsoft support. On the blocking site the Microsoft number given was 0808 506 0664. I tried , after looking it up, Microsoft direct, but all I got was a robot. So I tried the number given on screen. After a while I realised I was dealing with con men. They wanted £150 to put my computer back to working order. I refused to pay and cut them off. I rebooted the computer without a problem. Beware this scam allows them to enter your computer!
