I believe this is a scammer number. The man with a scouse accent asked for my name, then my DOB which I didn't give. I told him I would phone Santander. He said OK. I haven't in case they have my phone line open. I checked the number out, it is not Santander and a Google Search says Santander will never phone you anyway! I also had a text message asking if I had made a £25 transaction, just before the call. I am almost 99% sure this is a money theft scam.

They pretend to be from Santander and say your bank card has been used. They sound legitimate because they know your last 4 digits of your card (just like the real text would) but I checked all of my transactions and this is definitely a scam.
