Robot voice told me I was being charged £299. I didn't answer and I'm not planning on calling back either
picked up as I was free, robot voice told me I was being charged 299 pounds, won't be calling back, looks like a scam
Called this number back after a missed call, and was put through to "UK Technical Support", and a guy called David Martin, Indian accent btw, said my Fibre Protection and Anti Virus subscription had expired and will need renewing otherwise I'd have to pay £299.99. lol. After asking him does he feel good that hes scamming people, he said I was being stupid and ended the call.
Scam - avoid and if they call block!
Phone me look like foreign number so did not answer, and no message left on phone, Quick look on google suggest to Ingore and now blocked number on my mobile,
I rang this freephone number back after receiving a recorded message on my mobile that my account was being debited with £299 charge. I didn't use my own phone. A man answered who said that his name was Clay said that the company is called "Gogol Technologies" and they are part of Microsoft (hmm, scammers say this a lot). He said that I had security software on my computer that needed updating. I said that he should consider getting a proper job and stop lying and deceiving people for a living. He didn't appreciate that and stuck to his story as I was putting the phone down. Avoid this number like the plague!
