Same as other reports. Knows my first name and asks to confirm without providing details of who they are. Then follows up with "?" A few days later. Very suspicious.

As per the other reports, unsolicited message using my first name

Text message saying ‘Hi, is that [first name]?’ A few days later another text message with ‘?’

Sent a text but knew my name

“Hi, is that [my full first name that no one calls me]?” And then one week later a single “?”

Texted me with my name. Then few days later followed up with separate ? text.

Contacted me saying: Hi. is that [my first name]? COntacted me again a few days later with "?" only

sent me a text saying "hi is that [my name]?" then a few days later a single question mark

Addressed a text to me using my first name and asked if it was me. Followed up days later with a second text with question marks only

Sent me a text message asking me to confirm my identity. They seem to have my first name. No idea who they are but I won’t be replying to anyone if they aren’t in my contacts. Suspect they’ve got my details from one of the many data leaks and are trying their luck.
