Text saying "Hi, is that [first name]?", like many other reports.

Received a text saying “Hi, is that [first name]”

Same as all the others . Message said: Hi is that [first name]? I just blocked and deleted off phone.

Addressed with first name, reported.

Same as others, asking "is this [name]?" Message sent at 2.45am Reading this I should report and block

Same here.. I replied Yes. They followed with I am Faris and wanting to send a resume for a friend.

Monday 11:59, "Hi, is that [name]?" Wednesday 18:11, "?" I then blocked and reported

Same as other reports. Used first name and asked me to confirm it's me (I ignored). Followed up with "?" a few days later.

Same as other reports. First texting asking “is that X?” Then a follow up text two days later with a “?”. Definitely dodgy and the sender has probably got our numbers from a data leak. Blocked.

Sent a text saying “Hi, is that [first name]”. Very scammy.

Received text, asking to confirm my name which was in the text…

sent sms and used my first name. asked who is this and so far no answer.

unsolicited message using my first name

Messaged me asking me to confirm its me, knew my name

Same as other reports. Knows my first name and asks to confirm without providing details of who they are. Then follows up with "?" A few days later. Very suspicious.
