Said something unintelligible and then hung up after I asked who they were

Not totally sure if it's a scam, but if my phone thinks it's a scam caller, it won't ring out to me, instead, it answers for me, saying it's recording them...and asks what the call is about. If the person answers with a genuine answer, then I receive the call. I never did get the call, as the caller ended the call
