Said from DWP and wanted to speak to a manager so put on hold, went back to call and he then said was from department of education

They called and said they are from DWP, beware they are scammers

I received a call this morning from a lady saying dwp lol…they write to us on a regular basis! So it’s a big no and block them please..

Called to ask for someone who hadn't worked with us for over 3 years, then wanted to know who looked after all of our staff on one site but then put the phone down when I asked for more information

Unknown. Had a lady call saying that they were calling on behalf of the department of work and education and wanted to speak regarding training and education in the business. Wanted to speak with someone within the business who looked after training and education. I googled number and others have mentioned DWP so seems a bit odd to me.

probably a scam, a lady told me that she was calling from the government (?) and wanted to speak with a manager or senior staff member. Ignored me when I wanted to give her my email address for leaving a message

The gentleman said he is from Department for Education and Skills and has some questions to a business owner or a general manager.

Guy said he was ringing from DWP asked if there was a manager here to do a short survey about recruitment. I said nobody available.

Short ring, just one beep, so looked up the number and found all these reports so clearly is a scam caller.

Said they were DWP. So obviously a scam
