Rang and said they were from 3 I said I think it’s a scam and they just hung up
A spam caller rang me but didn’t leave a message, rang several times in less than a few minutes, so I blocked the number. I checked a few websites, and it had been reported for scams and harassment.
They said they were from 3. Be aware he was very rude on the phone.
Scam
Same Alex, same story, we send you a new sim-card tomorrow. When I said i don’t need a real SIM card as I use eSIM, he was like - No-no, we’ll send you a QR code. Be careful.
Someone impersonating 3 mobile saying your sim and number will be terminated and they are sending a new one. They seem to be fishing for account information.
"Alex" called 3 times within 2 hours saying he was calling from 3, very poor phone manner. Explained he was cutting my off my service and I'd receive a new SIM tomorrow. When I asked will this extend my current contract he said "no", I asked the same question again.... he said "yes", I asked him the same question again for a third time "will my contract be extended?" He said "yes".
