Called as british gas wanted numbers fraud Add to block list

said they were from our energy supplier asking for detais on our bill they sent us - rubbish they would have this info if they were already our enegry supplier - refused to send an email with further information

Said they were from British gas and then when i said i was with EDF they was from EDF ? Scam

claiming to be EDF but wanted me to read them numbers off of "the bill that they sent me"

Claiming from EDF Energy, and that the end date of the contract is wrong on their computer and wanted me to tell them the end date displayed on the latest bill. I told them to speak with their own accounts department for information. This was a foreign call centre. The caller said she didn't need information - but just wanted the 'information' from the bill. I told her this was a contradiction, that as this company was TPS registered - her call would be reported. This is the 3rd time such a call has come through.
